1. Christmas In Ice (North Pole, Alaska) – this 6 week Christmas ice festival features an array of intimate ice sculptures brought to life with thousands of colored lights. The event includes competitions, ice slides, a maze and more. It’s also located next to The Santa Claus House (meet Santa, his live reindeer and all) so you can do both while you’re there.2. Park City (Utah) – looks like the real deal Christmas town, because it is. Covered in snow, it boasts incredible snowcapped mountain views, real Christmas trees and glittering decorations along historic main street which set the scene for holiday musical events, carolers, Christmas shopping and the welcoming Santa Clause (where his reindeer descend on the Town Lift from the top of the mountain, or you can catch them skiing around the town Christmas eve.)

3. Denver Botanical Gardens – boats thousands of lit up trees and plants along a winding path through the Colorado countryside. Features include synchronized musical light shows, an enchanted forest and holospex (given out) turn their lights into 3D magical candy canes, snowflakes and other Christmas specialties.
4. NYC’s Department Store Windows and Rockefeller Centre Christmas Tree – from Macy’s to Burgdorf Goodman, Sax Fifth Ave and more, the city’s windows come alive with Christmas scenes that go above and beyond, everything from giant glittering sculptures to moving holiday scenes and interactive displays (I believe Macy’s has a giant interactive pinball machine this year.) The Rockefeller Centre’s tree reaches over 100 feet tall, lit up with over 1800 lights overlooking the infamous ice rink below is also not to miss.
